Spring – Concerto in E Major

Allegro
Springtime is upon us.
The birds celebrate her return with festive song,
and murmuring streams are softly caressed by the breezes.
Thunderstorms, those heralds of Spring, roar, casting their dark mantle over heaven,
Then they die away to silence, and the birds take up their charming songs once more.

Largo
On the flower-strewn meadow, with leafy branches rustling overhead, the goat-herd sleeps, his faithful dog beside him.

Allegro
Led by the festive sound of rustic bagpipes, nymphs and shepherds lightly dance beneath the brilliant canopy of spring.

Welcome spring,we hope you are here to stay …

Each season a wonder, but Spring makes the world a happy place …

Oh, isn’t it grand to be alive? Can you smell the sweet scent on the air all over your garden ? Today I think only with fragrances,I feel elated …

  5. Your post is one huge visual treat, holding the symbolism of positivity and possibilities.

But is spring really a rebirth of nature, as you say? Could this be a perceptual constraint that we carry due to our social embeddedness? To me every season, including Winter that precedes spring is as much about Nature’s possibilities as any other….

    • Thanks kindly my friend for coming by and for your pithy and insightful comment ; I won’t disagree with you, each season a Wonder as I mentioned in my post. However,I had to give Spring a warm welcome and remembered some of Eliot’s truth-bearing verses from The West Land :

April is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
      Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain …

Besides,W shakespeare was right by saying that :

“April hath put a spirit of youth in everything…

      It’s sort of rebirth figuratively speaking,Shakti ! Isn’t it !!!
