thanks so much for your sweet comment (fist bump sent your way just now) and funny because I almost did not share those photos – I took the pictures for just my library (and maybe for a challenge later in the year, ya know) and that morning I started off making a “motion” post – but then Paula had the traces of past theme (do you follow her – you should check out here blog) anyhow, I love when this unfolds.
also, welcome back ❤

I am so sorry I didn’t spot your lovely comment earlier Aquileana Dear.Being on hols and on the go most of the time,I am almost away from any WP activity and I rarely join just to play catch up quickly and that’s all.Any how,the story behind the titanic Zeus sculpture is truly sad. Unfortunately, the statue no longer exists. After the Olympic games were banned in 391 C.E. by the emperor Theodosius I as Pagan practices, the temple of Zeus closed.Olympia was further struck by earthquakes and floods and the temple was also damaged by fire in the fifth century C.E.However,earlier, the statue had been transported by wealthy Greeks to a palace in Constantinople, where it survived for some time before it was destroyed by a severe fire in 462 C.E. Today nothing remains at the site of the old temple except rocks and debris, the foundation of the buildings, and fallen columns. Thanks my friend for your concern;I really know your love for the Greek mythology and history…
Love & more to you, take care 🙂 Doda xxx

So sorry Doda that you too are now running the gauntlet of being spammed.. Your last comment upon my post I did get.. and I waded through over 500 spams to see if any one was in there who shouldn’t be and all was ok..
Loved your photo’s of the stadium.. I saw a wonderful stadium in Cyprus similar to this… Love History xxx 🙂 it was one of my best subjects in school Lol.. 🙂
Love and Hugs Sue xx ❤

Thank you so much Sue Dear for your sympathy … To be honest,I was thinking of you as I could very well remember your last “spam” experience.A real gauntlet as you describe it,very disappointing and time-consuming.I spent all my day and my night, yes,my night, writing comments and then seeing them disappear into thin air … lol ,plus that I had all these connections with the Akismet and the Akismet people and the help Forums to get some help.Nevertheless, they were very helpful and the problem was eventually sorted out.
Yes,there are some similar stadiums in Greece and the one you saw in Cyprus, but this one is in Ancient Olympia where the Spirit of the modern Olympic Games started … It’s still the place where they receive the Olympic Flame in order to travel to all the Olympic Games and events worldwide.I’m certain sure you know that, but you ignited my Greek pride and …. I had better end … while sending you my love and hugs 🙂 ❤ ♡(◠‿◠✿) ♥ xxx

You do right to extend that Greek Pride Doda LOL.. Greece has much to be proud of.. And loved by the way the artefacts you showed also…
Yes Akismet were helpful for me emailing me straight back with apologies and then again once it was sorted.. but its a nightmare I would not wish to repeat.. 🙂 Love and Hugs back.. xxx
I am just trying as yet to catch up with friends who have commented upon my posts recently.. 🙂 and you know how it is.. you read one post then another LOL.. 🙂 xxx

Thank you for your praiseful comment Sue Dear, and also for pointing out how upsetting the spam experience is.That’s a dreadful waste of time.Isn’t it ? Well,I often play catch up and I know how frustrating it is too … Soon I’ll read what messages the Universe sent you and try to decode them … Hugs, Doda xxx

I think so,and now can’t help their customers … Although, there is a stream of questions and answers in the F (HELP FORUMS) where they say that it has to do with the Telecommunications as well.Whatever it is,it’s so disapponting …

Don’t worry, the ones who are really consistent contacts know all about it.Join the Forums, they help more than F itself … Did you try to create a new account ? If you do,you will see your current account appear … Any how, there are many ways to get real help, but you have to persist and it’s time-consuming.When I had the problem with my WP spammed comments,I spent all day on that 😦 😦 😦 ….

That was how I did it for the most current acc’t -Wonderful Nature. It only allowed me to access from the iMac where I created the acc’t. Now, I can’t access through the iMac. So, I’m afraid to deal with another chaos if I create another new acct.
