immortal, very august, with deep laps,of prosperous fate, joyful in the sweet breezed lawn, demon with the many flowers; happy in downpours, around her a daedalus-like world of stars revolves eternally pushed by powerful natural forces.

But blessed goddess, may you proliferate pleasure-giving fruits, showing a kind heart , in prosperous seasons.

  1. Like Frank Lloyd Wright I have a problem with spelling God especially a patriarchal one. I believe in the Geek feminine Gaia but I rely a lot on spell check calling her Mother Nature. Then I can not be sere it could be the Way of Lu Tzu or Oboe Ben Kenobi of Star Wars ” May the Force be with you.”_/\_

    • Guite pithy your comment and with a philosophical attitude.Geek has many meanings,I don’t really understand the way you use it here.Apart from Gaia,Gaea is also correct but the spelling is confusing for foreigners etymology-wise.Let’s decide that Mother Nature is more acceptable and reasonable and without any cultural influence.Sorry,I cannot follow your insinuations any further, but I gladly receive your Namaste symbol and the “May the Force be with you.” wish.
PS:I have never closely watched the Star Wars epic series but I believe in the existence of a parallel universe and respect Chinese philosophers._/\_

  2. I’m very late in reading this but it’s truly a gorgeous post, Doda! I love Frank Lloyd Wright’s quote to begin with and your photos are delightful and beautiful. The fox photo had a certain appeal, probably because I don’t see many of them. Anyway, lovely, my friend, and I hope all is well with you. I’m posting and reading much less these days and I’m returning to college in the fall so blogging time will be more scarce then. But I peek off and on…sending hugs and much love, Lauren ♥

    • What a delight to see my beloved friend Aisha commenting on my Earth Day post! Can’t thank you enough my Lady for your warm, rich and praiseful comment!Yeah, the citrus blossoms have an intoxicating fragrance that spreads all over the orchards! As for the fox photo, there is a long story behind it!I have been feeding a big fox family for many years now.I have put big plates and buckets full of water at their feeding station in Mount Penteli. This is Mrs Maro,my pet one,and when I walk the dogs, she follows us.Most of them are very friendly, they start eating while I’m serving their food on the plates, they are not scared, but I have never, ever tried to touch or stroke them. The funny thing is that they eat along with a couple of magpies.Just have a quick look to see what I mean :

  14. Dear Doda, wow, what a wonderful uplifting post.. Yes it is our shared home.. No one owns the rights of another, we all are Gods/Natures/Goddess’s creations.. And there is room for all.. Its just that Man has become so greedy he wants his own space all to himself..
We could learn a lot from a colony of Ants.. when you learn about their infrastructure.
I adored the Fox photo, I was busy photographing a little visitor the other day,A mouse, he lives in our wood pile.. 🙂 and he is getting very brave now coming out in the day to feed 🙂
I hope your Earth Day was as good as mine.. I did some tree hugging, and some drumming, along with just meditating in natures garden..

Have a lovely weekend Doda.. Love and Hugs your way.. ❤ Sue
