Friendship Behind the Scenes

In the Mind’s Eye,I am not so Far Away … Just Sense me and I’ll be there ..

We Accomplish Nothing in this World Alone ...

We Accomplish Nothing in this World Alone …

It was on a sunny May day in 2015 when my husband and I met our Parisian friend Camille in the Historical Plaka under the Acropolis to show her around and then drive to Sounio to enjoy the sunset from the Temple of Poseidon.

Or Shall we Gaze reflectively at “The Big Blue” and Reinforce Friendships & Nations’ Unity … ?

The Balanced Symphony of the Turquoise and Deep Azure waters Uncondionally Established a Strong Greek-French Relation that Brought Warmth and Peace into our Souls. We had nothing to share but only Love and Happiness. How Beautiful the World Feels without Disputes & Forceful Conflicts … Why so much hatred and animosity poison our world,I will never comprehend …

Friendships above Space & Time ...

Standing still and recalling verses of the Greek Poet of the Aegean Sea,who dedicated his life to Love,Hope,Beauty,Freedom and Justice with a voice to the human consciousness.

The seascapes exuded Tranquility,Harmony,Peace and we Humans should understand that our welfare and peace of mind are possible only if  all Nations are United and support one another.

The sun started setting,Camille was standing next to me,we both felt the warmth of friendship.

  6. I believe the majority of people want nothing more than harmony and friendship… it’s the belligerent minority who attract all the attention… but I don’t foresee that peace will ever prevail on our planet because there will always be those willing to cause harm to others… the methods may change but the end result is always the same throughout history. I wish I could be more optimistic but I am being realistic. All I can do is personally be accepting and tolerant in my every day life.

Indeed, there is so much beauty and harmony around us,and we,humans, don’t show the respect it merits.Where is our civilised world to stop the atrocities that take place worldwide?Hate begets hate;violence begets violence;toughness begets a greater toughness, and we’re caught in a vicious circle that is worsening the situation.Sending peace & kind thoughts your way 🙂

  13. Dearest Doda.. your words echo within many a heart.. Why can we not find Peace?.. We can only build peace upon Love and Friendships…

May we all hold hands in the faith of Caring.. That is what is missing so much in today’s world.. So many caught in the Illusion of Greed, of their not being enough for ALL..

When we reach deep down within our hearts and Pull out our empathy, compassion, and caring.. When we stop pointing and blaming, and Look within our own prejudices and own anger and hatred.. Maybe then dearest Doda, The world may know Peace..

But sadly dear dear friend, Many of us have yet to alter our own ways of being..

The amazing thing though.. Out of Darkness comes Light… and as dark as it may appear right now across our world.. I know deep within my heart, that those of us who are now reaching out for Peace.. are sending the first ripples to spread out..

May many hearts start to reach out and join in Unity, Love and Kindness.. and start a chain reaction of Love that will outshine any darkness..

Beautiful post Doda.. and set to wonderful photo’s.. I hope your friends are safe and well..

Love and Blessings Sue ❤ xxx

    • Thank you dear friend Sue for adding your peaceful thoughts and your insight to my post.As you said in one of your posts,we cannot stop wars and people’s prejudices, but at least we can share our nice thoughts and show our real respect to anything “different” since we can peacefully coexist. The big ones have different plans though, and care only for dominance and wealth.I had the impression that all people have sentiments more or less…,but fanatism kills everything. Thank you dear Sue,my friend Camille lives in Biarritz, she was safe there, but Dwi and some relatives of ours live in the centre of Paris. All of them are fine.Have a peaceful Tuesday evening with the little Princess!Love & Hugs 🙂 ❤ xxx
