  2. What a lovely, happy family! Although I prefer cats myself I think dogs have a more difficult time being homeless as they are so devoted to people. When I go to the animal shelter, as sad as it is to see the cats waiting for a home, I can’t even look at the dogs as that makes me cry. I am so happy for Ares.

    • Thank you for calling in,Roslyn my friend!I know your sensitives that’s why I wanted you to come and see Ares, the dog and the little kitten,Fiji Suva. When we found the little kitten,it was half-dead and we did everything possible to help him survive. Now,he is happily running around the garden with the rest of our fur-kids.You are absolutely right, dogs are in a more advantageous position although the little kittens show weaker and more vulnerable to injuries.Btw,I have so much missed your wonderful posts with the huge architectural and art photos. My inbox is messy right now,I’m trying to sort it out and pay some proper visits to my favourite blogs. Most WP friends leave very short comments,I wonder if they really read the content of the post, but that’s how they survive … lol.See you again at your place 🙂

    • Hi my good friend Su!That was very kind of you to contact “us” and leave your nice words for the fur families.I think I had the same problem some months ago,but I refollowed some friends and it works properly now.Sorry for being a “silent” visitor, but I have more that 600 emails to sort out. When I came back from my holidays,my inbox was about to explode 😦 Now,I do my best, but I cannot manage to balance the situation.I do ten for example and another 20 arrive.Have a wonderful day 🙂 xxx

    • They have just read your warm and friendly comment, they all gladly received your “powerful” Wolfie hugs and I cannot stop them from happily barking and wagging their tails. So kind and sweet of you to come by and leave your footprints … But,we are a bit depressed as our inbox is uncontrolable 😦 We still pay the price for our holidays,we don’t know where we stand …. 😦 Anyhow,we all send you our love and best wishes 🙂 xxx

      • Don’t worry you’re not alone with the inbox issues! Mine diverts 90 % of my mails straight to the deleted folder unread and regularly changes it’s name to “chocolate folder”!! I have no idea why but it’s definitely out of control and has a mind all of its own that likes to cook up mischief whenever it can lol 😀 Good to know tails are wagging and barking prevails! I will add my cosmic howls to their chorus lol 😊

        • First of all sorry for our spelling mistakes;Ares made the editing and proofreading and it’s settled. He is now proudly wagging his tail and he goes on telling his own tales …
What a nice feeling to know you are not the only one,in this planet, suffering the “inbox syndrome”.I gladly start playing catching up,but the play never ends and spoils all the enjoyment. My great pleasure is when I empty the “deleted folder” with the “read” ones though.I like the way your inbox works, but I cannot adopt it.It sounds masochistic,I know … lol.You cosmic howls gave a very special character to their chorus, they made our day 🙂

  18. Very well done dear Doda! You have given shelter and love to a great being in Ares. He looks to be in large part genetically an Alsatian, though it is a mistake to define dogs by region of course – he is a noble wolf from antiquity at heart. Well done again – a great blessing for him, and for you also. H ❤

    • Truly a great being,an innocent and grateful soul who needed love more than food. The Vet said he is a genuine German Shepherd, almost two years old and healthy. We did all the blood tests too.He was not microchipped though.Who knows who abandoned him and why. That’s the sad story with the stray dogs and cats, you will never know what they had experiened and what they had been through … Yes,dear Hariod,he is a noble wolf from antiquity at heart.I so much like this description. He is a real Gentleman, quiet and grateful. All the best to you, dear friend 🙂

I don’t think I could have resisted those appealing eyes of Ares, either – and he fits in so well with your huge family of pets. I love the names you have given them all, and they all looks so happy to be sharing a home together, and with you, Every one of them has such a sweet face. I love Greek food. The variety of seafood is excellent and the different desserts are tantalising. It’s nice to know that yours are made with such healthy ingredients.

White Christmas rather sounds like a dream … Anyhow, have a delightful Christmas ❤ xxx

Yes, we’ve had some nice sunny weather, but also more rain. It’s Christmas Day now and we’ve had a wonderful family day. I hope your day was wonderful, too, Doda, with all your family, friends, and of course, your pets. ❤
